Junior Immigration Legal Counsel
Responsibilities
Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of Canadian immigration matters through the BorderPass platform Oversee the preparation and submission of immigration applications Represent clients in hearings, including Federal Court matters where applicable Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance the platform’s legal capabilities Identify client trends and proactively contribute to service improvements using platform data Support a high volume of clients through efficient, tech-enabled legal strategies Stay informed on immigration law and policy changes to ensure platform accuracy and legal compliance
Who You Are
Licensed to practice law in Canada Minimum 3+ years of experience in Canadian immigration law Strong experience preparing and filing a broad range of immigration applications Experience representing clients in hearings and/or Federal Court matters is an asset Comfortable using legal technology platforms and tools Strong written and verbal communication skills Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities Passionate about redefining legal services through technology
